After a hermit molts do you guys take out the molt or leave it in there?

Leave them in....in my tank seems like they all go to the same corner to do it. Like an old elephant burial ground. lol

What does the hermit molt look like? I have seen a few, what seem to be dead hermits out of there shell. They have there claws and all. Is this molting??
