I picked up a small frag of montipora yesterday and woke up this morning and it was a little bit white around the edges! ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1398007563.778510.jpg

Sometimes they do that I wouldn't worry about it just yet

Yeah give it a week or 2 it will probably color back up, those things are pretty hardy

It has a white ring but as you in toward the center it looses color

Look up coral tissue necrosis (stn and rtn) pictures and see if you think yours is doing that. It's really hard to tell with the blueness of your lights in the pics

I dont think its tissue necrosis... its not pure white it just looks like it is loosing color! I run LEDs and I have heard of them bleaching from too much light?

ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1398016801.511104.jpg This is a better picture! Its a really lite in color on the sides and darker in the middle

Yeah it's fine sometimes when u move those guys to a different tank they loose color I have 2 and both of mine did. But in a few weeks they color back up
