Is my moonlight too bright?

I'm also interested in hearing the feedback on this. I have two automotive led strips from auto zone & they are on all night which I heard is not needed. My question would be, how long should they be on before and after main LEDs?

I'm not sure on how long to run them either. These are the hitlights weatherproof ribbon LEDs, I glued them onto a piece of cove moulding and then tacked that into my canopy. I think it turned out pretty good. I do have a dimmer coming in the mail, but won't be here till April 1st, so until then it looks like its a full moon for my fish!
