Moonlight setting on LED

Just wondering who uses a moonlight setting on their reef tanks!
Blue light for a few hours after daylight is off!

Many of us do. I run moonlight for about an hour before darkness or dawn.

My moonlight LED's stay on all night. They don't affect the tank. They are mainly for viewing pleasure. My tank is in the nursery so it makes for a good night light and makes it easier for us to go in at night without turning the room light on.

Is it common for corals to close up in the moonlight?

Yea because the light doesn't reach them. The moonlights don't affect the tank in any way. So at night, your corals will close up regardless of if the moonlight light is on or off.
