Well, we got our shipment in today and the delivery guy asked if he could freeze an Idol in our store. So rather than freeze it, we took it and put it in our hospital tank.

The idol has 2 very cloudy eyes, now my question is would Maracyn and Maracyn 2 be the best option? Or is there another medication that would be a better option?

Thanks,
Matt

Cloudy eyes can be a sign of a bacterial infection. However, they can also be caused by poor water conditions. Ensure that the tank has pristine water parameters and give it some time to see if they clear up. Medicate only as a last resort. Honestly, kind of like nursing a death row inmate back to health before the exocution. This will sadly have a negative outcome. I do commend you for trying.
