More Clam help please...

My clam is happy as can be. He wants to attach himself to the front glass of the tank though. It seems he's looking for a hard spot to attach. What can I do to help him? I put a flat rock in the sand to see if he likes that. Should I cover the rock with a little sand or keep it bare... Any other suggestions?

Flat rock should work fine.. you can always make it a base out of reef putty too.

Didn't even think of that reef putty !
I'll see if he takes to his rock... If not I'll fix the rock with some putty....
