Using light and water movement, enhanced salt for accelerated growth, and a set feeding schedule, corals can change.

question though, how long were they in the tank before the first picture? just wondering if you had them look like that for a while and then changed it or if you got them from another source and brought out the best of them in your system. either way its great i love getting frags and having them thrive and look beautiful in your own system compared to what they were in

Both. There's a 4 month spread between pics #1 and #2. I purposely go for the change when I put them in the trough.

No offense, I'm probably going to sound like a jerk here but it looks to me like you just enhanced the photos with an app or on photo shop

None taken. Enjoying the hobby. Put a lot of effort into coral growth and color.

Regardless the photos do look awesome and the before and after pics are very impressive, all I was saying is that in a few of the pics it's not just the coral that looks different it's the whole pic, like the hue has been changed

To get the close ups I do put my iPhone 5 in a view box, tap the screen to focus, which cuts the brightness, which deepens the contrast. That's about it.
