mounting montipora plate?

well i bought a small piece of montipora, and i am having a hard time figuring out exactly where and how to attach it. so far i just kinda wedged it(gently) into a piece of acropora skeleton. thanks


p.s. i love me some visa giftcards, i got the above piece of montipora(about 3"), a meat coral(small), and a citron goby. merry x-mas to me

I was going to move this to the new aquisition forum but I guess you are asking a question about placement of your montipora. I`m sure someone will be on soon to answer. I`m not a sps person.

Lol. If it isn't attached to a plug or anything, you can try gluing it to a ledge with reef glue or super glue gel, or epoxy. If you just wedge it in somewhere, it's gonna start growing on that and I doubt you want that.
