move brain coral for new rbta?

My brain coral is slowly coming back from an injury. It is currently sitting in the sand at the bottom of the tank. My question is... I ordered a large rbta today ( ) and I don't want to take a chance that the rbta might injure this guy further.....should I move the brain coral higher up in the tank, on the live rock (I have a special rock/epoxy 'dish' of sorts that I have my clam in currently, that I could move him into-it's filled with sand on the bottom) or should I cross my fingers and leave the brain coral on the bottom?

BTAs like to move to find a comfy place. I wouldn't make any permanent places for your brain, in the event the BTA decides it likes a place near the brain.

Age is relative, you are only as old as you act....of course, this works in reverse....

Questions loved, heeded advice greatly appreciated!

I agree. I wouldn't do anything with the epoxy until you see the BTA foot itself. Even then, it might move again. Keep them far apart and keep an eye on the tank frequently, and you should be fine.
