Movement In Tank

I just set up my protein skimmer ( AquaC Remora ) and its on the back of my tank. I had my two powerheads going and that made it move the water like crazy so i shut the powerheads off. My question is, will the skimmer "calm down" with movement or will it always be kinda fast? Also, how long does it stay really loud for? Thanks!

you should run the PH's.. you need 10x flow at least.

it will quiet down after your cycle.

I'm running one of them and it seems to be doing well.
