Well there's a few reasons.
1) I live on the NSW South Coast. Max Water Temp in Summer = 23C
2) Where there are plenty (GBR area) it's illegal because of conservation laws.
3)The places where the good colourful corals are that aren't protected are often 30 - 40km offshore. So it's not exactly walk to the waters edge and grab an acro.

And I agree with Kevin, more picshures!

I started to think about easier reef keeping and read about miracle mud in last TOTM feature. After doing some reasearch I felt that this would more than likely not be for me. So far knock on wood I have great color and growth. I can attribute this to good water qualty and my 250 radiums. What I wanted to make sure was that all my animals were being feed including my filter feeders and sps's. Many do say that by feeding the fish most sps are fed. I wanted more assurance.
I decided that the addition of some products maybe worth a try.

I started adding the following from Brightwell and Dr. G's:

Microvore diet
Zooplankton-S
Copepods
I will give it about a two month trail period and see how things are going. I want to keep an eye on water quality.

It will be soon! I won TOTM on another forum and I am waiting for them to post the lastest pics. Even though those pics have gone out I have already glued some of my new pieces and have started to frag some of my larger sps's.
