You can place them right in front of my door. I will handle them from there.

I plan to. I found a thread on ReefCentral about the EcoBak (HERE), and it definitely does sound like interesting stuff.

I also was referred to an (as of now) 87 page thread on Algae Turf Scrubbers (HERE), so that should provide some interesting reading. I'm starting to like the ATS, but I'm a little wary that something so small can pack such a punch. It almost seems too good to be true, to only need that for filtration and not a traditional sump with fuge.

Hey there Apollo,
There are threads like the one you posted. The ones that I have been following are on RC and r2r.

Which threads in particular do you follow, aside from the ones I posted? I'd like to get as much reading in as possible before I start work on my 120, which arrives on the 5th.

Okay thanks, I'll poke around and see what I can find! I'm pretty sure I still want to go the sump/fuge/skimmer to start off with just to be safe.

This I thiink is the same thing. from what I have seen it works great. The algae actually eat the pellets overtime so you sort of have to top off the media.

Aquarium Specialty

Yes this is a similar type of product as the Ecobak from Warner Marine. IMO EB s better. But I have not tried the other.
