Why dont you walk down to the ocean and grab some corals, whats the big deal. And since I live in texas no I dont ride a horse (all the time).

Well there's a few reasons.
1) I live on the NSW South Coast. Max Water Temp in Summer = 23C
2) Where there are plenty (GBR area) it's illegal because of conservation laws.
3)The places where the good colourful corals are that aren't protected are often 30 - 40km offshore. So it's not exactly walk to the waters edge and grab an acro. :)

And I agree with Kevin, more picshures!

I started to think about easier reef keeping and read about miracle mud in last TOTM feature. After doing some reasearch I felt that this would more than likely not be for me. So far knock on wood I have great color and growth. I can attribute this to good water qualty and my 250 radiums. What I wanted to make sure was that all my animals were being feed including my filter feeders and sps's. Many do say that by feeding the fish most sps are fed. I wanted more assurance.
I decided that the addition of some products maybe worth a try.

I started adding the following from Brightwell and Dr. G's:

Microvore diet
Zooplankton-S
Copepods
I will give it about a two month trail period and see how things are going. I want to keep an eye on water quality.

One of my LFS was having their 3rd yr anniversary and Jason Fox attended and had some of his signature corals to sell.
Here the ones that I found I could not live without! Ya know what thats like! LOL!

Looks awesome. I just got my tank yesterday and it's the same length as yours but it's 30" across and 39" high... I hope I can make mine look as good as yours. How about a new FTS (and the 1/4 shots because they are good too) with the new corals.
