Multi-mouth Ricordia

Question about Ricordias. Do ricordias with more than one mouth feed a single body cavity or are they more than one individual sharing the same body. Will these organisms eventually split?

From what I have seen and read the second mouth is the first sign of a split.

I have an Orange/blue Ric about the size of a quarter with three mouths, just seems pretty small to be splitting already. Are there any books out there that go into the internal structures of our reef inverts?
Thanks
