How long before a mushroom starts reproducing in your tank? I was told they will spawn to reproduce, Or do I have to frag?

It will very form coral to coral. But if conditions are right, the mushroom will split off part of its foot and make a new one. You could also frag it to speed up the process. Randomly I just had two mushrooms split.

Checkout my profile pics, bought couple small frags and now I have a mushroom tank , they grow pretty rapidly once they adjust to your tank when your tank is established...

I have some green mushrooms with bumps not ricordias though and they started producing little ones after about 2-3months, they start out small and underneath the parent mushroom and very lightly colored, they color up after they move out from under their parent shrooms, my parent shrooms are nearly half dollar size and the babies are about a little smaller than a dime in size.
