Mushroom detaching

What does it mean when a mushroom detaches from the rock??

I could be wrong here but i also think thats one way it reproduces leaves a lil piece behind not for sur tho

I think I did have too much light on it a while ago then I moved it to an overhang so it doesn't get as much light or flow so I'm confused on what's wrong. All of the parameters are perfect and have been. I'm hoping it is reproduction fingers crossed! Thanks guys

It can be because of reproduction, lighting, and flow.
