After weeks of planning and debating equipment It's finally on!

So far I only have basic equipment, It will probably be months before I actually get the tank cycled and ready for fish (budget restraints) I hope to see success in this adventure from the research I did. Thanks to everyone for their previous help.

With all of that said, Here's some pics! :D

Tomorrow I should be getting the PVC to plumb the overflow and return and maybe get the piping for the CL system.

Bout time we get a build thread outta you! :D I'll definitely follow along.

I have been waiting for you to build this tank ever sice your first thread i saw about your parent not letting you to get the tank when you got the stand. Now my parents are doing the same thing, tell your parents thank you for infecting mine with the anti-fish disease.

Haha no problem! LOL

If you be nice about it and eventually annoy them enough (in a nice way.. more like "persuasion") they will finally let you feed your fish obsession XD

Well thanks for the high hopes. Actually the biggest issue is that i am trying to let me do my first salty.

I had the same problem. They kept saying "It's so much harder and its so expensive!" (When you know what your doing it isn't THAT hard, and its only expensive if you don't buy things on sale or off of Craigslist :D)

DIY system (I don't see a point in buying the $100 system when I can make one for cheap) The black bucket is the possible reservoir, but I think I'll get a slim container like the kind for refrigerators.

I have't completed the system yet (looking for the electrical components now lol) but this is the kind of switch I'm trying to get

(There's something about electricity and water that I love.. Maybe its the danger factor. xD)

Yeah, just make sure you have a titanium grounding probe.....

I think the best way is to learn from other's mistakes!
