I bought a green bubble anem about a month or two ago, and it chose a perfect spot in the tank and had been doing very well. It even began to host my clowns a few weeks ago. Just the other day, it moved away from its original spot into a cave in the live rock. For the past two days, it has been in there hanging upside down, never fully opening up. What is wrong?

It's creating a clone most likely. They go into hiding to do it. Some take hours others take weeks from what I've seen and heard. Does it look like its stretching itself to the point that it's gonna break?

Actually, before it went into hiding, I did notice that it looked like it was about to split into two. And it DOES look like it is stretching inside the cave! I believe you may be right! Thanks so much, I was worried!

No worries. We all freak out a little bit the first time I'm sure.
