I've had this guy for about a month I'd say and have never seen him stretch so far. Is this normal? If he wanted to move he could just float to where he wants to go I'm thinking. I'm running 30" quad t5's on this 29 gallon so light shouldn't be the issue...Any thoughts or is he just being weird?

He is slowly moving towards the filter intake....he is touching it now but not getting sucked up.

Should I be worried?

Thanks everyone!

I would defintely keep an eye on him. Many a time they have gotten caught up in an intake and the results are not good.

Thats exactly what I was afraid of.

Thanks for the response. :)

It looks nice... My condy does this often... But he is far from overflow...

Has yours turned kinda brownish near it's tips?

Nope they are bright purple. :) He's not looking like he usually does even now that the lights are off. usually he balls up but not tonight. Its like his foot is now 6 inches long
