my cleaner shrimp

i got only one
but for a while i couldnt figure out why it wouldnt clean the fish
4 days ago my tang was following it around
but the shrimp wouldnt clean him
no matter what
now that i cut back my feedings to once a day
now it seems it is cleaning more
(maybe feeding more than needed and was full)
(finding plenty of food)
but today he is cleaning every body that comes near him
first time i ever saw a shrimp clean out the mouth of my clown
the clown just opened his mouth an the shrimp stuck his feelers (or whatever they are called in) and went to work
very cool
my royal gramma wont approach him

my cleaner belongs to my eilib's angel, he's not allowed to clean other fish.
probably cause the cleaner tends to stay in the angels personal territory.

and I've seen the dental check up many times

I can't wait for the day that one of my fish gets close enough to my cleaners to actually get cleaned! My tang gets close occassionally, but flees quickly at any approach by the shrimp. I, on the other hand, get cleaned all the time! He jumps on my hand the second it gets in the tank! My husband put his hand in last night and was shocked when the shrimp cleaned his hand, walked across his palm and climbed onto the back. At that point it must have pulled a hair because my husband yelped and that was the end of the cleaning session! Those shrimp are so much fun!

How is the diatom thing going? Are you seeing less of it with the straining your doing on the food?

Once I put my cleaner in my tank it went to town on my Yellow Tang.
