Aquarium Advice Apprentice
So if you look at the picture of my dad's tank you can see that green algae has complete taken over the tank. I'm not sure how to help. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this mess?

There are articles in our article section about algae control. It is a simple matter of nutrients in the water column not being removed. Large water changes with ro/di water, manual removal of the algae, so on. It'll take some time. I'd even make sure to take the rock out and scrub it down to remove the algae.
