The reason is their is no warranty and it lacks a few things like individual reflectors, its a Chinese light but its a great light.

You could probably put some German reflectors on them. And Most warranties are crap anyways

I believe mine is a 30g long

Your 30" tank is actually not a 30g. Its a 29g standard. 30g standard is 36".

Yeah i used to call my 29g a 30 to lol but it will confuse. Nothing wrong with being 29 lol
