My kinda frag tank

His is my new 175 mhl and I put my frags down there but it was just my 10 gall tank

Did you say its 175 watt metal halide lighting in a 10 gaL? I think the light is too strong that like 18 watts a gallon.

Yea is it to bad cause I put it on there to help the corals cause they look like crap what if I put it under a net or something

What is your temp at? That would be the biggest problem. That is too much light tho. You need to raise it up high or use some eggcrate/screen to block some light but that might not be enough and probably will add to the heat if too many layers are blocking airflow.

I think a two bulb t5 fixture would be better for that tank. The light will need to be raised if not.
