My next big purchase...what do you think?

My wife emailed me today and told me that she wants to buy this for my tank. We will have to save part of my bonus check this month and next month, but we should have it by end of next month!

Looks like a good light set!!

Are you handy with wood work and electrical equipment? You could easily build a canopy exactly like that for a substantially cheaper price. Just a thought...

Anyway way you go, you should have no trouble keeping about anything you wanted with that light setup.

Yeah, I'm pretty handy with wood, but not so much with the electrical side of it. I would be so paranoid about an electrical fire. Not to mention...these are all tied into one ballast.

There is a local club here that is going to be doing DYI project meeting on m/h ballast. I guess I could build the units through hem and then just add in 4 vho retro kits. The reflector would be the main problem.
