My sea hare looks dead

My sea hare looks dead but if you put a piece of seaweed in front of its head it will eat it then just act dead again. My water check was ph 8.2 and everything else at zero. I have only had him 2 weeks. My tank has been going for six months.

Saltwater Aquarium Invertebrates for Marine Reef Aquariums: Sea Hare Sea Slug

As you can see they are difficult to keep. They are rated as "for experts only". Also you can see that they will release a toxic dye in the tank if startled. I would read that article very carefully. As for it`s health I would say if it was eating that it would be a good sign.

I understood before I bought it thAt it could release dye. But it has not yet. Thanks for any advise.
