I just finished the rock work last night, YAY. Just need to paint canopy and buy lights, and wait for tank to mature to buy corals!!!

110 Gallons
Wet/Dry Sump
Protein Skimmer
Overflow box
200 Lbs of LR
150 Lbs of LS

1 x Lawn Mower Blenny
1 x Damsel

Here are some pics.

Wow, nice! How much dough do you have invested thus far? (Scary to think about I know)

surprisingly not that much, i got a great deal from the recycler. all of that for $300, sweet huh?

150 pounds of "Play Sand" from Home Depot for $15, seems to be working just fine, although water was cloudy for 24 hours.

question?
i see you have a 150 pounds of playsand and a 150 pounds of livesand! so you have a total of 300 pounds of sand in your tank!
and does playsand work in a reef set up?
thanks for your help
michael

Sorry for the mix up, to clairify, I have 50 lbs of LS and 100 lbs of play sand mixed. The playsand from homedepot seems to be working just fine, and I do believe it will work with a reef setup.
