My yellow tang is eating...

my brand new shaving brushes like spaghetti 8O! It picks up a strand and sucks it in no wonder the brushes are dying...

also, (so I don't start a new post) my coral beauty is not interested in any food I have to offer her. I've tried pellets, flakes, mysis shrimp, red blocks of formula one with caulerpa algea and green blocks of formula two also with caulerpa algea--nada... but she does eat all day and night from the rocks (which are squeaky clean now) Could this be the reason why she is not interested? She does 'tastes' everything, but doesn't actually eat, and she also looks good and she's fat.

it is not surprising the tang is eating the shaving brush. They are plant eaters and it is a plant. The coral beauty is probably eating tiny bits of plantmatter, copepods and other tiny things on the rock and therefore is not interested in your offerings. I think once it runs out of available natural foods, it will most likely eat what you are feeding.

Have you tried the frozen cubes of angel formula? They seem to love that stuff (except the large pieces of krill that are too big for it to fit in my cherub angel's mouth).

Angel formula? I haven't even seen anything like that around here... 8O I'll look for it. I forgot to mention that I've also offered krill cut to very small pieces and still she is not interested. Maybe like Hara said, as soon as she's done cleaning 95 Lbs. of live rock she'll eat my stuff . She is looking very gorgeous though, vibrant colors and everything

Tangs are herbivores. They will eat green plant matter.

I have a blenny that did the same. He spent 2-3 weeks just picking at my LR. Slowly he started to take live brine shrimp, then mysis and now ccrisps. He strays from the Bio pure angel formula.
