nano tang w/ crator

just got him yesterday, fine cherpy and eating great, gets along w/ my 2 clowns and damsel. the water levels are all normal, we had the fish store double check them when we bought him.

it looks like a bullet came out of him, a big crator protruding out of his skin

any ideas???

Can you post a pic so we can see what it is? It sounds like a wound, which is probably infected. Do you currently have him in a qt, or your main?

we brought him back to the store last night, they're quarantining him and if he gets better, we will buy him back. thanks for the help though, i didn't want to chance it spreading to the rest of the tank
