Naso tang

I just bought another naso tang today , my first one died for no reason . The second one I bought acclimated for an hour and as soon as I let him in my tank he went into the rocks and hasn't come out. What should I do?

Fish don't usually die for no reason. However, if you have just put him in he may take a few days to get used to his surroundings, this is normal. Who are his tank mates? Just keep your eye on him, make sure he eats and that no one else is bullying him...

What size tank do you have? Is this the first fish and if not, what are the tankmates? What are your water parameters? How did you acclimate? Do you happen to know what your LFS runs salinity at (some places run low, almost hypo to fight parasites)?

Almost every fish I add to my tanks, takes a dive into my rocks until the next morning.
