Found a couple of these long yellow tentacle hitch hikers in my lr. Please help me ID it and see if they're beneficial or bad. I see a couple of long yellow arms poking out of the lr. Every time i try to pick a piece of its tentacle off with a tweezer it goes back inside the rock. Ill attach some pictures of this nasty looking thing. It doesn't look like anything i've ever seen. Has a TON of little yellow tentacles connected to it's body.

Wow! I haven't seen that before but I'll be following along for the answer. Sorry I couldn't help ya. Kinda creepy looking. Almost like a squid or something.

Yeah I was really disgusted when getting this thing out. I think theres close to 3 in my tank!!!! Idk how I would get them out.

So this little guy is actually good? I really hope so!! Anyone else have some suggestions?

they are pretty gross looking though, but when they are in your sand bed or rock all you would possibly see is little hair like catchers

It's good. I got plenty of them. They extend they're tentacles mostly at night. Cool creatures.

Thank you guys for the ID! Now I'm relieved and i don't have to worry about another thing.
