need help hooking up UV sterilizer, instructions NOT GOOD!!

i got my UV sterilizer in yesterday but it requires a external powerhead, i have 2 1200 maxijets in my tank i will use one for the sterilizer, problem is which end do i connect the water intake on the powerhead or the outflow on the powerhead i tried looking at the website but doesnt give any diagrams it is customsealife double helix 18 watt UV sterilizer

I looked at a pic and I don't think it matters. Whichever one is most convenient for inlet and outlet.

i'd assume the output from the powerhead would go to the input of the uv sterilizer. Push it through, or suck it through, as long as water is going through at the correct rate i wouldn't assume any problem. I believe that there is a specified flowrate though. You should look into that one.

yes the specified flowrate is 100 -350 the maxijet 1200 has 295 GPH so im ok on that i will install it tomorrow thank you for the advice
