Need help with a Xenia coral

I uhhhh aquired a xenia coral from my LFS for the simple fact that I speant more than a thousand bucks there.... I was in there and he gave me a Xenia frag ... It was like hey do you want this??? I was like hey uhhhh sure finally payback for spending so much in here..anyway I prolly shouldn't have gone this route and my xenia looks nothing like what I see on websites.. My whole Xenia sways and all it is not like the ones I see on google where the little extentions move and the body is firm.. My whole thing kinda moves like a crazy thing... it was a mistake to take it without input but its' been done help would be great please see pics in my gallery

Thanks
Doan

Xenia is pretty hardy. Just keep the flow around moderate and be sure it is getting plenty of light. Also I may bemistaken but that looks like anthelia to me or some othe type of polyp. It could be xenia but it does not look like any I have seen.

I don't think your mistaken. It looks like anthelia to me as well. They can sometimes be mistaken for xenia as some species will depict pulsing behavour just the same.

Cheers
Steve
