Well I have a ten gallon nano Reef tank and at first I did not do regular water changes and my tank got red slime algae. It went away after some elbow grease and I have it lightly stocked I do weekly 10% w/c and I have good flow and filtration. But here is my idea: I trash all of my crumby "live rock" (I use quotes because it is now just rock from bad care) and buy some dry aquarium rock at my LPS for $2.49 a pound. Is this a very wise idea please respond? Thanks.
