Need some help

Hey guys I'm going to start buying all the stuff I need to convert my 20gal freshwater over to a reef aquarium I just need to know what I'll need to get started I don't have anything I can use I'm going to need new lights new filter just want someone to maybe write up a list so I can start buying and checking off it thanks

Do you already have test kits? A refractometer? On a 20g I would do 2 x powerheads, a heater, sand, about 30g live rock. Is it is reef or fish only? Lights of course. That should get you going, I would think about a skimmer down the road...

I've got the basics to run a freshwater tank I have a master reef kit and marine test kit both liquid I have a heater it's going to be a reef I currently have a 9gal nano reef and I'm going to transfer all the old stiff over and use the 9 as a quarantine tank
