if its just for mood lighting check these out they cost me $3 bucks each they come in many colors i got them in cool white that put 10200 kelvin and uv black also for $35 bucks with remote two 80 mm rgb angel eyes.... superbrightled.com2012-09-02 23.11.47.jpg2012-09-02 23.12.26.jpg2012-09-02 23.13.03.jpg

it cost me about $100 bucks to make this with aluminum tube and angles from homedepot...good luck

Shimmer comes from one single point of bright light, such as from metal halide or a bright led. So a bunch of less intense light sources will not produce much shimmer, you need a single point of bright light.
