Thanks for that idea. Mine got down to 1.021. I mixed some saltwater to add back in to get the salinity back up to 1.025.

Don't be too jealous. she has a HOB skimmer and is pulling directly from the tank, yours is in the sump.
I noticed a huge difference in the type and amount of skimmate produced when I had mine pulling directly from the tank. Now that it pulls from the sump it isn't as dark and nasty. Plus given the recent bouts with algae, I'm sure a lot of that nastiness is free floating algae cells and diatoms.
