Oh won't have it running until tomorrow need to soak pellets in rodi water overnight so will have it up and running tomorrow

Ok so I got a little excited and went ahead and put in the bio-pellets seems odd that you have to start with so little in there and then slowly add more until you get to the amount you need but I will be posting on this more as I notice changes in my system

I hadn't heard that yet. But it kinda makes since, because they release nutrients into the tank witch could cause a nitrate spike before the bb starts to colonize. That's just what I'm guessing, don't really know.

Yeah plus I was told to dose bacteria in my tank and this is what I went with

Update
After watching this run I realized it needs some mods first went to a craft store a picked up needle point plastic and cut out 2 pieces to block pellets from flowing back in to tank then I glued it in place on the bottom with black silicon.... Will let dry over night and see how it works tomorrow.... Here is a pic of what I did

U think that will be a problem even after they soak? Oh and them samoas look fire!!!
