Hi to all,
got some questions?

is it safe to just add the water from my old tank (55gallons) to the new one (90gallons)?
for the purpose to keep my fish and coral in a stressless condition?

I dont know if its the same for salt as it is for fresh.. I know salt is way more complicated, but when I upgraded my 36 to a 60 I was also curious. people told me the water holds no beneficial bacteria so it wasnt needed and I was just putting dirty water into my new tank. But I did it anyway just in case it helped the fish not stress as much.

If your parameters are good and you don't have any pests (Ich, cyano, dinos), you should be fine doing that. You won't be moving much if any bacteria, just saving salt.
