New and have a Question

hey guys im new to the site! first off glad to meet you all!
second, i am thinking of starting a new 60 gallon tank and want some tangs....what kind could be kept in a 60 gal?

None.... need 75 or better.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately there are no tangs for a 60g tank. :-(

The closest you can get is at 75g and then the selection is somewhat small.

Yellow and blue tangs need at least a 6 foot tank and PLENTY of swimming room.

Are you going with corals or just fish only? There are some nice angel fish that look similar to tangs but aren't coral friendly.

Lemon peel, flame angel, coral beauty, those are a few of my favorites. Look at Liveaquria.com. Gives you ideas and what is required to keep them.

but before i decide on an angel....what size tank for a mimic tang? i think its also 75 gallons right?

recommended 70, but I'd say 90 with it getting 10"...

Depends on what you are trying to add, filtration, etc...
