New anemone

Picking up a rose bubble tip anemone tomorrow for $40. I know the guy that has it and he has had it for a while. I have a current usa 4x54 with new ati bulbs. My tank has been set up for just under a year. I just cant pass up this deal and my clowns look lonely. I have many friends with btaís under 4 bulb fixtures. Any advice for me as far as keeping it happy? How should I acclimate it?

Take your time with acclimation at least a hour Both of mine I just added a little water at a time until container was full then got rid of half of the water and started over and did this about 3 times

Will the fact that I don’t have a skimmer cause more problems for me?

A skimmer is not needed as long as you keep up with water changes but one can not hurt you either

New anemone is in the tank along with some green button polyps, and green duncan. Anemone looks good, it is gradually opening. Color is awesome... Paid $60 for everything
