My new firefish in the 55, after a good night sleep he came out today and not shy either.

He's cute!! I've thought about getting one of those or maybe a purple one. Good to hear he's not shy too! It's a little bit of a let down when you're all excited about a new fish and then don't get to see it for 2-3 days cause its scared.

Yea tell me about it I had one in my other tank and he was super shy never came out, I'm happy that this comes out and stays out even when I approach the glass

If you can get another firefish, they usually pair up and like clowns are inseparable after a while, really neat to watch. I'll add that a purple firefish will not pair up with a regular/ orange firefish though
