I just replaced the six bulbs in my lighting fixture. They are 39w , 4 are 10k, 2 are actinic.

If none of the corals are showing any distress, should I still move them to a shadowed area of the tank and slowly acclimate them to the new bulbs?

The way I see it, don't fix what isn't broke but I want to make sure I'm not overlooking something.

Sometimes they will die slowly from the shock. But you"ll probably be alright. When I first started I never light acclimated any of my corals, because I never new about light aclimation and everything was fine. To the day I have never had a coral die.
