I just recently received a new umbrella leather which I think is doing well ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1465071736.315830.jpg

However my other leather is doing very poorly and it's been a couple of weeks as well as my zoas have not been completely opening up or spreading since I got them. They will open up occasionally but never fully and I've tried repositioning them and still nothing. I have had some growth of algae that may be the cause as it overtook my star polyps as you can see. Since I got my tang though he's been eat most of the algae ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1465071860.975300.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1465071871.613934.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1465071882.436115.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1465071891.374173.jpg

Take a turkey baster and blow off all the crud, it should help make them happy and open up . I have to blow off rocks corals ect on a daily basis as the sand accumulates a lot since the fish tend to stir up the sand. some leathers open up fast others could take longer.
