I currently have a clown fish in a QT being treated with copper for Ich. All is going well and my main display tank is fish free and will remain that way for 8 weeks. I thought this would be a good time to purchase a few new fish. If I do this should I just acclimated the new fish in the QT with copper? Are there any fish that cant tolerate the copper treatment?

There are quite a few fish that are sensative to copper. It also depends on the type of copper being used. Your best bet would be another qt tank.

Another bet might be to wait it out. Don't forget the QT tank is most likely too small to house "a few new fish".

I'd second the new QT if you absolutely must add fish, but I'd wonder if you really want that expense or to use up additional floor space.
