I just purchased this new green leather finger coral yesterday. Today a portion of it is a brownish color and producing a slime. Is this normal for this type of coral to do this?
i think the brown stuff is it opening. and the slime is normal if he was just added ot the tank. it dose not look like any thing to worrie about from the pic
well i found it wil make the slim when it is not open for a few days. but it might take like 2-3 day for it all to fall off. they also do this about once a month to get off stuff from there body. takes about a week for them to mak all the slime.
