New lighting, happier than ever!!

I upgraded lighting on my display tank and my prop tank.

On my 95g tank I was using a ESU 2x150w HQI retro w/ 2 96w pc's. I was using XM 20k's and have now switched to two Sunlight Supply Lumen Max reflectors with XM 10k's(out of phoenix 14k's but I'll switch in a few weeks) Was going to use T5 actinics but don't know if I can fit them.

Anyway, the coverage of these reflectors is INSANE. They are a bit expensive but after seeing how they cover my tank I'm overjoyed that I spend the extra $$.

On my prop tank(20"x20"x12") I replaced my 20" 70w HQI Sunpod with another Lumen Max reflector and a 6700k bulb for growth. Coverage is incredible once again. Light distribution under the current fixture was super high directly under the bulb and dropped off 80% by the edges of the tank. With this reflector preliminary light readings show only a 5-8% drop off!! I'll post some pictures tonight if I get a chance.

That's awesome. Can't wait to see pictures of the tank.
