I recently had an outbreak of bryopsis and dosed mag for about 3 weeks to eradicate it in my 40 breeder. Levels were around 1600. I was using IO salt the entire time I was dosing. I recently started using Red Sea Coral pro in this tank. Could the chemistry between the higher mag content with the IO, and the levels of mag calc and alk
in the Coral Pro be causing any sort of cloudiness?
I can't seem to figure out what is going on. All my levels are in check, the only thing a little low is calcium at 375. Alk
was 9.5, mag 1500, ph 8.2.
I have another thread about my Zoas and palys not opening, and my BTA doesn't look too hot whatsoever. Could this cloudiness be what's bothering my corals?
What would be a good course of action?
