New SCA 50 gallon cube

I went ahead and bought the SCA pnp 50 gallon cube. I thought I'd share my setup thus far.

Herbie setup. Plumbing is done.

Im curious if anyone has any concerns

Looks like a promising start. What kind of corals are you going to keep in it?

Got 50 lbs live rock and 40 lbs live sand in. I also replaced my lights with the AI PRIME lights.

Not sure which kind of coral yet. I'm open to suggestions!

Have you looked around? What are you interested in? Hard to tell you what coral to put in your tank since we have different tastes.

Two Months Later

Thought I'd post an update. I have two clownfish, a stripped wrasse and a sailfin blenny in there. Two blood red fireshrimp and a cleaning crew. Along with Akan coral, toadstool, frogspawn a kenya tree and a couple frags.

I'm going to pick up a carpenter wrasse today. I also want to get an anemone but think it is still too early.

I'm always curious to hear other peoples opinions and suggestions. Thanks!

Be careful with that kenya tree. They reproduce by dropping branches, which then become new coral. Keep it in the sandbed so you don't get overrun by them!
