New Skimmer Rec

Im in the market for a new skimmer. I bought an Elos system 120 a few months ago and I opted to go with a REEF OCTOPUS NWB-150 skimmer instead of the Elos one, which I'm now regretting. I want the biggest possible skimmer I could fit into the Elos sump.

Keep in mind you can only go so big. At a certain point, a skimmer won't be able to skim due to size.

What makes one skimmer better than another is the pump. The air draw on the Sicce PSK600(600lph) is more than the Octo's Hailea OTP 2000 (420lph).
For that size tank I would want a skimmer with a pump pulling closer to 1000lph of air.
What is the footprint that you have to fill?

I ran the same Reef Octopus skimmer...it has a pretty trashy pump on it. There are threads out there regarding upgrading the pump with MUCH better returns.
