So I just upgraded to a 29 gal and transfered everything without any problems :D . Now I need to add more live rock. I am looking for any suggestions on adding new live rock to an already established tank. Is this a dumb idea? Do I add small amounts at a time? Or do I add everything I need all at once? Any advice is appreciated

Thanks

If you get cured rock, you can add it all right to the tank. If you get uncured, you must cure it before adding or it will cause a cycle in your tank.

If you add small amounts of cured LR from the lfs, just add it.

If you want to add a lot of LR at one time then cure it to be safe, unless you are bringing it home from the LFS and you know it is cured (cycled). IMO any LR that is shipped should be cured before being added to the tank.
